25 february: bad news for human rights in Cuba
Today I wan't to point out to two things that striked as ressembling each other though not comparable for belonging to very different contexts but both accounting to the lack of respect for human rights: one happened in Cuba and is the death of a man in prison as a consequence of his hunger struggle for better conditions of emprisonment and his protest for being in prison for making public his criticims of the regime and refusing to accept the outcome of the trial that condemned in first instance. The second case is the arbitrary way in which Google shuts downs Youtube accounts that have hundred of thousands views and hundred subscribers but apparently for copyright reasons all the work belonging to a whole lot of people is destroyed by this company belonging to what is supposed the free world.
